Our Expertise
Since 2014, Girl Friday has designed, fabricated and installed over 1,500 projects.
Because our work is client-focused and often site-specific, we have quite a few tools in our metaphorical (and literal) toolbox.
After the design process, every detail is crafted in house. Our creative team is experienced in working with a wide-range of techniques and materials. And, in addition to what we know, we’re always pushing to learn about new materials and create new techniques. We especially love using unconventional materials in fresh and interesting ways—especially if it’s a perfect fit for a client.

For the American Swedish Institute, our collaborations with Girl Friday have helped us deliver wow, unexpected moments and enhance the exhibition experiences on a number of occasions.
In the latest collaboration for the exhibition, “Extra/ordinary,” Girl Friday helped us execute concepts we never thought possible, including a giant ballpit in the ballroom and hundreds of hand dipped colored spoons in an ombre effect on the 100+ year old kitchen ceiling.
